These terms apply to the website of Beit Sahour Municipality (“the Municipality”, “we”) and to the apps and services connected to it, including our Facebook app. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

About the website

The website provides information about the Municipality, its services and the city of Beit Sahour. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it is provided for general information. Where the website differs from an official decision, fee schedule or document issued by the Municipality, the official version applies.

Using the website and our apps

You may use the website and our apps for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:

• try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or the information held on them;
• interfere with the website or place an unreasonable load on it, including through automated access;
• send messages that are unlawful, abusive or misleading, or that contain advertising or harmful software;
• pretend to be another person or organisation.

Our Facebook app

When you use our app on Facebook, Facebook’s own terms and policies also apply. The app only receives the information you choose to share with it, which we handle as described in our privacy policy. You can remove the app from your Facebook account at any time, and ask us to delete your information by following the steps on our data deletion page.

Content and intellectual property

The text, photographs, logo and other material on the website belong to the Municipality or to those who have licensed them to us. You may quote and share the information for non-commercial purposes, provided you name Beit Sahour Municipality as the source and link to the original page. The Municipality’s logo and the photographs may not be used without our written permission.

Messages you send us

When you contact us, please give accurate information. We use your message only to deal with your request, as described in our privacy policy.

Links to other websites

The website links to websites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.

Availability and liability

We provide the website and our apps as they are, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of them without notice. To the extent the law allows, the Municipality is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or reliance on, the website or our apps.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and the latest version is always the one published here.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the State of Palestine, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent Palestinian courts.
