Data deletion

You can ask Beit Sahour Municipality to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, including the information we receive from Facebook when you use our Facebook app. This page explains how.

Remove our app from your Facebook account

Removing the app stops it from receiving any more information from your Facebook account:

1. On Facebook, open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites.
3. Find the Beit Sahour Municipality app and select Remove.

Ask us to delete your information

Send an email to info@beitsahour.ps with the subject “Data deletion request”, giving your name and the email address or Facebook name you used with us. You can also send your request through our contact form or by post to the address below.

What happens next

• We may contact you to confirm that the request comes from you.
• We delete your personal information from our systems within 30 days and let you know when it is done.
• If the law requires the Municipality to keep a record, such as official correspondence, we keep only that record, only for as long as required, and we tell you so.

Comments and messages you have posted on the Municipality’s Facebook page are held by Facebook, and you can delete them yourself on Facebook.
